Step away from the busyness of life and into The Refresh—a Rare Method™ retreat designed to help you clear space, reconnect to yourself, and call in what's next. Guided by Randelle Lusk, this intimate 2-night gathering offers a somatic-informed journey of movement, breathwork, self-inquiry, and embodied restoration—all cradled by the lush rainforests of Bowen Island.

Through these practices, you’ll be invited to soften patterns of tension, shake off what’s heavy, and reconnect to your natural rhythm. Here, release isn’t forced—it’s allowed—and renewal unfolds naturally.

THE LOCATION
Hidden among towering cedar trees and mossy trails, Nectar Retreat Centre offers a sanctuary just 20 minutes from Vancouver, yet a world away. Nestled on 20 private acres of Nexwlélexwm (Bowen Island)—the ancestral and unceded territory of the Skwxwú7mesh (Squamish) Nation—Nectar is a return to simplicity, beauty, and inner spaciousness.
With Scandinavian-inspired cabins and cottages, fresh mountain air, a wandering forest stream, and deer grazing nearby, Nectar is a place where time slows down and the senses reawaken.

Bowen Island is a quick and scenic 20-minute ferry ride from Horseshoe Bay, West Vancouver. Check www.bcferries.com for sailing information. This ferry is not reservable in advance. Arriving at least 30 minutes early is recommended.
Travel by public transport, rideshare, or car. Secure parking available at Horseshoe Bay Terminal.
You are welcome to bring a car to Nectar, otherwise we recommend walking on the ferry and arranging taxi transport to Nectar, or bringing a car for ease of exploring Bowen Island.
More transportation information will be shared with guests closer to travel dates.
A WhatsApp chat will be created prior to the retreat for anyone who wants to arrange rideshares.

No refunds or discounts will be provided for late arrivals, early departures, flight cancellations, extreme weather conditions, force majeure events, travel delays, or illness. It is the participant's responsibility to schedule travel and plan accordingly to ensure timely arrival.
We understand that sometimes bookings need to be rescheduled, canceled or that unforeseen circumstances can arise, and unfortunately we are unable to offer compensation as we have already incurred expenses for this event.

Our practices unfold inside a stunning geodesic dome, tucked among the trees and serenaded by the sound of running water. This sacred space creates the perfect container for movement, reflection, and transformation—infusing each session with the grounding energy of nature itself.
A Ritual of Renewal
You’ll also experience Nectar’s Mist Thermal Sanctuary—a private, two-hour hot/cold spa ritual featuring a wood-fired sauna, cold plunge, warm soaking tub, eucalyptus-infused showers, and outdoor rest areas by the fire. A true ritual of cleansing, calming, and coming home to yourself.
