The Reset
October 29-31, 2027 | Nectar Yoga, Bowen Island BC
WHERE RELEASE BECOMES RENEWAL.
Step away from the busyness of life and into The Reset—a Rare Method retreat designed to help you clear space, reconnect to yourself, and make space for what's next. Guided by Randelle Lusk, this intimate 2-night gathering offers a somatic-informed journey of movement, breath work, self-inquiry, and embodied restoration—all cradled by the lush rainforests of Bowen Island.
Come home to yourself, on land that feels like a deep exhale.
Recalibrate, Release, and Renew
Each day offers a Rare Method® experience—an immersive blend of somatic-informed movement, dynamic breath, intentional pause, and transformative self-inquiry. Through these practices, you’ll be invited to soften patterns of tension, shake off what’s heavy, and reconnect to your natural rhythm. Here, release isn’t forced—it’s allowed—and renewal unfolds naturally.
Reflect, Connect, and Expand.
Beyond movement, you’ll gather in circles of reflection and inquiry, designed to deepen your relationship with yourself and others.
These guided sessions offer space to examine what’s ready to be released, envision what you’re calling in, and weave the threads of personal insight into embodied action.
Gentle practices such as meditation, breathwork, and restorative movement may be woven in to support integration and calm.
Each offering is crafted with care to meet you where you are, offering the perfect balance of depth, play, and replenishment.
THE LOCATION
Hidden among towering evergreens and mossy trails, Nectar Retreat Centre offers a sanctuary just 20 minutes from Vancouver, yet a world away. Nestled on 20 private acres of Nexwlélexwm (Bowen Island)—the ancestral and unceded territory of the Skwxwú7mesh (Squamish) Nation—Nectar is a return to simplicity, beauty, and inner spaciousness.
With Scandinavian-inspired cabins and cottages, fresh mountain air, a wandering forest stream, and deer grazing nearby, Nectar is a place where time slows down and the senses reawaken. Days are nourished by wholesome, locally sourced meals, a private hot/cold thermal spa experience, and the quiet magic of nature’s rhythms.

Savour Every Moment
Nourishment is woven through every part of your experience at The Reset.
You’ll enjoy three thoughtfully crafted vegetarian meals daily, featuring local, seasonal ingredients prepared with love and creativity. Snacks, teas, and infused water are always available, ensuring you feel fully cared for.
Between sessions, soak in the serenity of Nectar: wander mossy trails, bask in the sun-dappled clearings, or cozy up with tea and a journal.
You'll also experience Nectar’s Mist Thermal Sanctuary—a private two-hour hot/cold spa ritual featuring a wood-fired sauna, cold plunge, warm soaking tub, eucalyptus-infused showers, and outdoor rest areas by the fire. A true ritual of cleansing, calming, and coming home to yourself.
A Sanctuary for Sacred Pause
At Nectar, every element of the land invites you to slow down and reconnect—from the whispering forests to the winding freshwater creek.
Our practices unfold inside a stunning geodesic dome, tucked among the trees and serenaded by the sound of running water. This sacred space creates the perfect container for movement, reflection, and transformation—infusing each session with the grounding energy of nature itself.
A Ritual of Renewal
