“Changing perceptions towards interactive marketing”

Most people relate or restrict interactive marketing to online marketing. Our vision is to change or expand this perception!

It’s really about “how” you do your marketing – not “where.”

Interactive marketing builds valuable relationships through interaction, regardless of the medium used to reach your audience.

The internet, wireless networks and other innovations are changing the world and how we communicate. Lifestyle patterns have changed, consumers are more informed and they’re demanding personalized attention, on their terms. Further changes in lifestyle patterns and additional technology advances are sure to come.

As a result, the effectiveness of traditional advertising is declining. It’s becoming more difficult for marketers to connect with their audience. Yet, they are demanding more accountability.

In today’s world, we must work harder and be more creative for our message to be noticed by the intended audience. To make a lasting impression, we need to motivate individuals to interact and provide them with a memorable experience. We need to embrace emerging media and current lifestyle patterns and fully integrate this knowledge into our strategies. We need to improve the way we use traditional marketing channels, such as radio, print and TV.

All marketing can and should be interactive. Even traditional media (TV, radio, print, billboard), if used strategically, can be used to prompt an interaction and engage an individual.

Prompting an interaction leads to engagement;
Engagement leads to an experience;
An experience leads to a brand connection;
A brand connection leads to a relationship; and
A relationship leads to results.

Rare Method is a young company. We do not carry the baggage of “the way things used to be done.” We exist to promote and lead the changes in our industry and change the way our clients think about marketing, because these perceptions need to be advanced.

We challenge every medium to cause an interaction and engage an individual, on their terms. Once engaged, we focus on building the relationship.

To Rare Method and our clients, the term “interactive marketing” means more than online or digital communications. It means that regardless of the medium, every piece of communication must be interactive.It must cause a reaction.In other words, it must provoke thought, direct action and get results.

Rare Method works in every discipline, in every medium. Which gives us a unique 360° position within an often-segmented industry. We look at all media and recommend the best solution based on our client’ best interests. This contrasts with traditional shops that naturally steer clients into media in which they specialize. Not because they are the best media, but because they are the only media they technically know.

Rare Method clients are involved throughout the whole strategic and creative development process. We employ a true partnership system with frequent strategic and creative "loop" sessions, in which clients are brought in early to discuss ideas and thinking, provide input and deal with concerns. This process gives clients ownership of the work developed for them. Therefore, they are involved and not surprised.
